Scripting Runtime Color Values

To script color values seen or used at runtime, colors need to be in decimal value format.

To Translate Color Values to Decimal Color Values

Find the RGB value (###, ###, ###)
Create a hexadecimal value (0x00bbggrr)
Convert it to a decimal value (########)

Note: Pay attention to the order of R, G, and B values in each format.

Example

For the color white:

RGB value = 255, 255, 255

Hexadecimal value = 0x00FFFFFF

Decimal value = 16777215

Various methods are available to translate color values for each step, including the Microsoft Windows Calculator (in Programmer view) and various Internet resources.
